Ledger releases 7 new apps as part of #CryptoTuesday
Ledger now supports Aion, Atheios, Banano, Callisto, Ether1, Ethersocial and Gochain after the third edition of #CryptoTuesday.
Since the launch of #CryptoTuesday in August, 15 third-party applications have been released, increasing the range of cryptocurrencies supported by Ledger devices. Today, this is increased with another seven, bringing the total number of crypto assets supported by Ledger to 711.
The seven new applications released today as part of #CryptoTuesday are: Aion, Atheios, Banano, Callisto, Ether1, Ethersocial and Gochain.
These applications are available for installation on Ledger devices through Ledger Live. You will be required to use a compatible third-party wallet to perform transactions. Ledger Live will gradually incorporate full support for third-party applications, to enable Ledger users to not only install, but also manage these new crypto assets directly from Ledger Live.
#CryptoTuesday is a Ledger initiative that takes place every first Tuesday of the month. On this day, new applications created by third parties will be integrated and released. This will steadily increase the amount of crypto assets that are supported by Ledger devices.
Plans for upcoming application releases can be found on our public roadmap. Future application releases will follow the #CryptoTuesday process and requirements and will be released every first Tuesday of the month.
