What is Wanchain

Wanchain Wallet is the official wallet of the Wanchain, cross-chain financial blockchain network. Wanchain Wallet is available in Desktop Light Client, Desktop Full Client, Desktop Offline, and mobile (e.g., Android & iOS) versions for sending/receiving and managing WAN tokens, along with conducting private cross-chain transactions.

The wallet also supports Wanchain digital assets outside of the WAN token and even comes with functionality in Wanchain PoS staking.

Why do you need a hardware wallet?

When you own cryptocurrencies, what you really own is a “private key”, a critical piece of information used to authorize outgoing transactions on the blockchain network. Whoever has the knowledge of this key can spend the associated funds. Hence the famous expression “not your (private) keys, not your bitcoins”.
