Ledger Hosts Hodler Prize for Multi-Dimensional Storytelling

Things to Know:
—  Ledger is a co-sponsor of the Second Edition of The Hodler Prize, which recognizes exceptional cross-disciplinary storytelling.
—  The prize is awarded in Bitcoin, reflecting the unbounded approach of both the award and Ledger’s ecosystem-agnostic approach to security.
—  The Hodler Prize award ceremony will take place at Ledger’s Paris HQ on April 9th during Paris Blockchain Week.

Ledger is proud to announce its partnership with the Hodler Prize, co-sponsoring the award along with CoinShares and hosting the award ceremony at Ledger’s new state-of-the-art Global HQ in Paris, 106 Temple, on April 9th during Paris Blockchain Week.

Ledger x Hodler Prize: Breaking Down Barriers in Storytelling

Created by novelist and former journalist Anthony van den Bossche, The Hodler Prize recognizes the most important storyteller of the year across all disciplines – audiovisual, books, video games, journalism, podcasts, blogs, and more. It aims to impact culture much like the impact of MMA on combat sports: providing an exhilarating space for the convergence of styles and disciplines, leading to the birth of a heightened form of medium-defying storytelling.

Ledger is proud to support The Hodler Prize’s mission to expand creativity by breaking down barriers between disciplines; an endeavor that reflects the same forward-thinking spirit as many of the artists Ledger has long supported through its initiatives and digital collection.

The winner will be selected by a committee of renowned figures from the worlds of art, literature, technology, and finance, including renowned Swiss art curator Hans Ulrich Obrist, ex-Wired journalist Hari Kunzru, Nigerian-American poet & artist Precious Okoyomon, and Nigerian journalist Tolu Ogunlesi.

The prize is awarded in Bitcoin, a currency that is cross-border by its very nature. This makes it the perfect reward for a prize aimed at eroding the boundaries between creative disciplines.

Each jury member and the prize winner will also receive a custom Ledger Stax to help safeguard their Bitcoin and other valuable assets.

The jury selection will take place on April 9th at Ledger HQ, followed by an award ceremony featuring jury members, Anthony van den Bossche, and representatives from CoinShares and Ledger.

Through this collaboration with The Hodler Prize, Ledger is continuing its commitment to supporting artists whose creativity refuses to be pigeon-holed and fostering magical cross-disciplinary storytelling.

Be sure to RSVP for this exclusive event during Paris Blockchain Week, and join us as we celebrate a limitless future for storytelling and fearless storytellers.
