We’re proud to announce that Ledger has introduced updated packaging design across its entire product offering. This new packaging is already being sent out to you, our Ledger customers. Our goal with this packaging update is to invite the new generation of users to easy self-custody into a clear and welcoming beginning. Ledger believes that managing your own digital assets should be an empowering and accessible experience. This is just the start of Ledger creating more tools with our brand to empower users, developers, and partners to make crypto feel more like the innovative products and services we interact with during everyday life. Ready to guide any user through their first journey into self custody, starting with the moment your Ledger package arrives.

The refresh is rooted in design intention from techniques of Ledger’s brand identity, The Grid, Light, Iconography as Language, and Emotional Technology.



Starting with the product images: bright, clear, illuminated and front fracing. The images are front and center because that’s what matters most and who we are. The packaging is no longer just a box; it’s an invitation to the community.



Second is the touch. In this update the sleeve has been removed on the latest products Ledger Flex and Ledger Stax. Stripping things back to let the materials and structure speak for themselves. The new design is premium, tactile, and elevates the unboxing moment to something that matches the sophistication of the product inside. These exciting changes are most notable in Ledger Stax, where for the first time, customers will receive a free Magnet Shell with every purchase included in the packaging. It feels solid in your hands, like something that’s been carefully thought through, just like our wallets. Secure by design. In this update is the addition of a pull tab to the packaging—a small but significant update that protects the integrity of the box while making it easy to open. A balance between form and function.

And this isn’t just about how it looks or feels; it’s about what it says. Crypto doesn’t have to feel dark or complicated. Ledger leans into an inviting, open aesthetic to break away from the stereotypes of the space. It’s brighter, cleaner, and deliberately designed to be approachable.

The updated packaging not only reflects Ledger’s commitment to uncompromising security but also the commitment to making the world of cryptocurrency more approachable and user-friendly. Sustainability was another big piece of this puzzle. By cutting back on materials and focusing on what’s essential, Ledger has created something more eco-friendly without sacrificing quality. It’s not just a better experience but one better for us today and tomorrow.
